Simple NAM Chain
Last updated: 1 August 2026
Simple NAM Chain does not collect any data about you. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no servers of our own. Everything the app does happens on your device.
The app asks for microphone access so it can process your guitar or other audio input in real time. That audio is processed on your device as it passes through. It is never recorded, never stored, and never transmitted anywhere.
When you choose a folder of amp models or impulse responses, the app reads those files from your device in order to load them. They stay where they are. Nothing is copied off the device and nothing is uploaded.
Bluetooth access is used only to receive MIDI from Bluetooth MIDI devices. No information is sent anywhere over Bluetooth.
The free trial and the one-time unlock are handled entirely by Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple tells the app whether you own them. The app stores only that answer and the date your trial started, and it stores them on your device. We never see or receive your name, your Apple Account details, or your payment information.
The app includes a link to tone3000.com, where amp models and impulse responses can be downloaded. Following it leaves the app, and that website's own privacy policy applies from then on.
The app is not directed at children, and it collects no personal information from anyone of any age.
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here in the app and at bouharb.com.
