Overview

GP Tone Builder ("the App") is developed by Aziz Bou Harb. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.

Data We Collect

• Song information — song name, artist name, and/or YouTube URL you provide, sent to our server for tone analysis
• Audio data — audio is downloaded and processed on our server to isolate the guitar track. Processed audio is cached temporarily to improve performance for repeated requests
• Device identifier — a unique device ID is generated and stored locally on your device to manage your free trial usage. This ID is sent to our server to track trial status. No personal information is associated with this ID

How We Use Your Data

• Song information and audio are used solely to analyze guitar tone and generate effect settings for your processor
• Device identifiers are used only to manage the free trial (3 songs) and subscription status
• Cached audio data is stored temporarily on our server and may be deleted at any time

Bluetooth

The App uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to connect to your Valeton GP-50 or GP-5 device. Bluetooth is used solely to send tone and effect settings to your device. No Bluetooth data is transmitted to our servers.

Third-Party Services

• Google Gemini API — used to analyze guitar tones. Song information and audio features are sent to this service. No personal information is sent. See Google's Privacy Policy
• Apple App Store / Google Play — subscriptions are managed through the respective platform. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We do not collect or store payment details

Data Storage

The App does not create user accounts. No personal data is stored on our servers. Device identifiers and trial usage data are stored on our server to manage the free trial system.

Analytics & Tracking

The App does not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. No cookies are used.

Subscriptions

The App offers a $29.99/year auto-renewable subscription for unlimited access. Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device settings.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
